We are anxoiusly preparing for the first Maine Kicking Bear camp to be held August 14 and 15, 2009 on the grounds at Smoldering Lake.   There has been overwhelming support for the event through local volunteers, churches, and sporting groups.  We look forward to introducing up to 100 local youth to archery, hunting and the outdoors this August.

Congratulations to the winners of the Outfitting for Tommorrow raffle.  Ted Mercer and Bronson Hokuf both of Maryland won their choice of 6 prizes offered on the raffle.  The proceeds will help sponsor the Kicking Bear Camp out and shoot set for August 2009. 

Thank you to all those who so generously supported through the purchase of tickets and to all who spent their time and energy in selling tickets.

To those who supported and did not win know that your contributions will help enrich the lives of children and may even change their lives forever in a positive way.
